McNulty earned her BS Horticulture from Clemson University and her MAT in Secondary Science SC State University
She is a horticulture agent, working with clients and teaching a master gardener training program. Her major responsibility is serving as the host/producer of the gardening advice television program "Making It Grow." Also, she writes and records "horticultural tips" aired on all SCETV radio stations and writes a regular column for the SC Dept. of Natural Resources' "SC Wildlife" magazine.
