(1927-2008) Born in North, SC, Eartha Kitt was a singer, actress, comedienne, dancer, and activist. She was known for her highly distinctive singing style and her 1953 recording of "C'est si Bon," "Santa Baby," and her role as Catwoman on the 1960s TV series Batman.
